韓国・ソウルを拠点に活動する陶芸家、Heami Lee。
彼女の作品は、器という概念を超え、ひとつの彫刻作品として空間に存在します。
独自のフォルムと繊細な表情を持つ造形は、単体として完結するのではなく、
置かれる場所や光、周囲に生まれる余白と呼応しながら、その場に新たな景色をつくり出します。
静謐でありながら、確かな存在感を持つ作品。
かたちそのものだけでなく、作品と空間と時間の関係性をも作品の一部として捉えています。
wadではこのたび、Heami Leeの日本初となる個展を開催いたします。
彫刻的な造形と空間との対話から生まれる、Heami Lee独自の世界をぜひご覧ください。
個展のオープニングイベントとして、フードクリエーターのShunさんとHeami さんのお料理と器を楽しめる企画を開催します。
韓国から作家も来日しますので、ぜひ一緒にお楽しみくださいませ。

料理と器の実験室
Heami Lee ×Shun
個展期間中にフードクリエイター Shunさんによる季節の食材を使ったお料理講座とお食事会を開催します。
実際にShunさんのデモンストレーションを目の前でご覧いただきながら、皆さんがご自宅でも作れるように、お料理のレシピとHeami Leeさんの器をお持ち帰りいただきます。
お料理に合わせてお酒を飲みたい方の為にキャッシュオン形式でShunさんセレクトのワインもご用意します。Shunさんのお料理をHeamiさんの器と共にお楽しみください。
開催日時：11/7(土)、11/8(日) ＊Heami Lee展は15日(日) まで開催

Heami Lee is a ceramic artist based in Seoul, South Korea.
Her works go beyond the traditional idea of a vessel, existing in space as sculptures in their own right.
With their distinctive forms and delicate surfaces, her pieces do not simply stand alone.
They respond to their surroundings—the place in which they are installed, the light that falls upon them, and the space that opens up around them—creating a new sense of landscape within the space.
Quiet yet with a strong presence, her works explore not only form itself, but also the relationship between the work, the space, and the passage of time as an integral part of the work.
wad is pleased to present Heami Lee’s first solo exhibition in Japan.
We invite you to experience Heami Lee’s distinctive world, born from the dialogue between sculptural forms and the spaces they inhabit.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, we will also host a special event featuring food creator Shun and Heami Lee, where you can enjoy food prepared by Shun and served in Heami’s ceramics.
Heami will be joining us from Korea for the exhibition, so we hope you will join us and enjoy the evening together.
